5.17 Let me see your license!

So I went back to my old save file of FFXII and found to my surprise that past!me had gone to the trouble of getting Vaan all his licenses!

"Awwwww..." I thought to myself, "I have no more dumb licenses to win and yet I keep earning all these LP!" (Stupid prancing purple phantom ponies in the Necrohol of Nabudis not letting me ride them even though I just wanted to be friends... Vaan now has a bajillion hoof marks to the chest but it's a worthy stamp of honor for his equine exterminating exploits.)

So I thought that if the game didn't have licenses, well, why not make some new ones up? I'm pretty sure Vaan doesn't have a license to wear a shirt (in XII at least~) and Penelo probably needs a license to have feathers in her hair and Gabranth simply MUST have a license to impersonate a Dalmascan General what with him being a practitioner of the law and all!

And that's where this latest minigame comes in. If there's ever been an FF license or a pass or an important document you think would be fun to design...well...here's your chance! Or better yet if you just want your own personal licenses then you can have that too!

Yes, we're having ourselves a banner making activity!

So how do we do this? Well I'm sure we all have a vague idea of how to make banners, right? You just open up the image editing software of your choice and make something that features whatever it is you want to exhibit and save it at a size no higher than 350px wide and 200 px wide. (This isn't the compulsory size for banners everywhere but it's the biggest we'll allow here.)

So say you want to make a silly FF license. Hmm, since FFXII is the game with licenses aplenty why not think of something that should be a license there? Personally I always thought that there should be a license to be FABULOUS... HMMM...

Well okay, that's all well and good but what about similar important documents in FF? I love FFIX and I remember that when you try and get through customs at South Gate they try and check to make sure you're not smuggling any teenage girls in your baggage and if they don't find anything they give you a swell gate pass to allow you to pass through the border. How about I make a real one of those?

Okay I doubt the Mist Continent has printing presses that sophisticated but never mind, it's the thought that counts!

But what if you just want something personal... say you really want a license that says something about you? Have you got a hobby or interest that you're so passionate about you pretty much would qualify for a license in it if it were possible? Well here's your chance to get that illustrious license!

You can either make the license for yourself or someone else can make it for you! All you have to do is fill out the request info in your comment so that way people know what you'd like in a license banner.

So let's say for mine I put that I love drawing FF fanart, I ship Tidus/Exdeath, I make stupid crack, have an annoying tendency to fangirl seiyuu and I'm not all that fussed about having my name and class on there. I SHALL TAKE THIS INFORMATION AND MAKE HORRIBLE THINGS WITH IT!!! BEHOLD!

Now you can clearly see that there won't be any high standards for this minigame - graphic makers of all levels are welcome to take part so please feel free to participate and remember...HAVE FUN!

POINTS

It's 5 points for each banner you make (whether for yourself or someone else) though you can only earn a maximum of 25 points from making banners. (You can make as many banners as you want but you will only be awarded for a total of 5.) You also get 5 points for requesting though you will only be awarded this once.

OH YEAH AND BEFORE I FORGET, I NEED TO SHOW THIS TO PROVE THAT THIS IS ALL WELL AND LEGAL!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! :D LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ALL THE SHINY AWESOME YOU GUYS CAN PRODUCE!
